Helped start the Met PGA Junior Golf program. Brought Dick Harmon to NY. We met with Charlie Robson and staff to set up the bones for the section program.
Worked closely with Jan Gilpin (PGA National Education) in selecting teams of top teachers for 5 day playing workshops. Jim did these with Dick Harmon, Charlie Epps, Craig Harmon, Randy Smith, etc.
3 Day Teaching Workshops (with Manuel de La Torre, Craig Shankland, Jerry Mowlds, Dr. Richard Coop, Dr. Fran Pirozzolo, Bob Rotella, etc. and multiple facilities.)

Jim McLean has taught US Open Champion and LPGA Champion Cristie Kerr, US Open Champion Gary Woodland, Curtis Strange and Greg Norman, PGA Champion Keegan Bradley, US Junior champion and ANA Champion Lexi Thompson. Cristie and Lexi both attained the #1 rank in junior golf and women’s amateur golf as teenagers.
