My name is Rafael Echenique, a professional golfer from Argentina.
I was born in 1980, in the city of San Luis. At an early age, I discovered golf, and since then, I have never stopped pursuing my passion.
I had an outstanding amateur career, winning multiple tournaments in Argentina and representing my country in both junior and senior divisions (even as a junior player). I won a Junior World Championship in Japan and achieved second place in another world-class tournament in San Diego, United States.
In 1999, I decided to embark on my professional career. Over the years, I have competed in various tours worldwide, including notable events on the Korn Ferry Tour (a stepping stone to the PGA TOUR) and the European Tour (Europe’s premier golf division). I have also had the privilege of competing in major tournaments such as The Open Championship and the U.S. Open. I also played in the PGA Tour in Latin America.
