June 2011 – 36th Junior PGA Championship Awaits Dalke’s Arrival - 6/3/2011 11:42:40 AM



Brad Dalke, 13, is no stranger to junior golf tournaments with high ranked players and field depth. In 2010 he won the U.S. Kids World Championship at Pinehurst, which came on the heels of a second-place finish at the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships. This past weekend Dalke was a winner once again. This time is was at the prestigious AJGA Thunderbird Invitational Junior in Scottsdale, AZ. The Thunderbird has past champions of Ryan Moore and Casey Wittenberg, both have gone forward to play on the PGA Tour. Along with his win, Dalke shot up to the No. 8 position in the Polo Golf Rankings. So what’s next for Brad Dalke? In two weeks he heads to Sedgefield C.C. in North Carolina for the FootJoy Invitational. He has also accepted an invite from the PGA to play in the 36th Junior PGA Championship in Fort Wayne, IN. When asked about the upcoming schedule Dalke stated, “It would be nice to win one of those tournaments and get to No. 1.”
