There is a reason South Florida is synonymous with great golf. That reason is Trump National DoralMiami. First opening its doors in 1962, Trump Doral was fashioned with golf at its core. And today more so than ever, under the stewardship of Donald J. Trump, guests will find that it has become the preeminent golf resort in the country. Trump National  Doral is host to scores of professional golfers across five different courses, including arguably one of golf’s most famous – the brand new Blue Monster Course. With this most recent course transformation, Trump Doral continues to redefine the essence of golf resorts – and quite possibly the grandeur of the sport itself.

The Blue Monster, home of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, has hosted prestigious PGA TOUR events for the past 45 years. In fact, virtually every great name in golf has had a moment of glorious personal triumph on this world-class track.

With Donald J. Trump and legendary architect Gil Hanse at  the helm, the historic Blue Monster Course has undergone a complete redesign and has become a new golf course thus reaffirming its reputation as one of the most challenging and spectacular golf courses in existence. The 7,608 yard course features a series of strategically placed deep bunkers, long flowing fairways, interesting undulating greens, deep Bermuda rough and a challenging assortment of water hazards - all of which combine for a course that requires both length and finesse to score well.

The famous 18th hole was ranked by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Holes in the World. It is no surprise that virtually every great name in golf has had a moment of glorious personal triumph on this world-class course. Nor is it any surprise that it has once again secured its status as the current and future home to the World Golf Championship - Cadillac Championship.

The legendary Great White Course is enjoyable for the high handicap player while maintaining the integrity of the course for the accomplished player.

A Greg Norman Signature Course, the 7,171-yard, par-72 Great White Course is the only golf course of its kind in the Southeastern United States that utilizes coquina -- crushed shells -- as the primary design element on every hole. In designing the Great White, Norman blended strategically demanding fairways with hundreds of palm trees. He then laid out the course in a manner where water comes into play on 14 of the 18 holes, which makes for a challenging, but picturesque Great White Golf Course. Host to the PGA TOUR Franklin Templeton Shark Shootout in 2000, the Great White was rated as the best new golf course of 2000 by the National Golf Foundation.

On December 6, 2005, Doral Golf Resort & Spa unveiled the “New Look” Great White Golf Course. Highlighting the enhancements to the Great White Golf Course was the re-design of the 6th and 15th holes, as well as all bunkers. The course also received new landscaping, as thousands of native grasses were planted around the course, while cart paths were installed at strategic locations throughout the course for improved drainage.

The Gold Course provides an opportunity for golfers of all abilities to play to their skill level.

PGA TOUR legend Raymond Floyd recently redesigned this course to follow a traditional Florida layout, incorporating gently contoured greens, strategic bunkering and water surrounding 16 holes. The course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and finishes with a dramatic par-4 island green on the 18th hole. This course hosted the 1999 PGA Qualifying School finals.

The Jim McLean Signature  joins the infamous Blue Monster and the Great White as the third of Doral’s premier courses. It is unique among courses in the Southeast because it presents a variety of challenges that include three of the toughest starting holes in golf, a series of phenomenal par 3s, and “The Bermuda Triangle” of the 13th through 15th holes. Five sets of tees let golfers from novices to champions decide how difficult they want the course to be – but no matter where they start, they’ll have earned a real sense of accomplishment every time they finish.

The Jim McLean Signature  Course is located at 5001 NW 104th Ave., Doral, FL 33178
